The annual 44th Saturday Club carnival was held this year from 27th April to 5th May. Ten clubs participated in this fun filled and competitive carnival which saw DI members putting in their best efforts either by playing for their club or coming out in large numbers to cheer and support their club.

The DI dance team gave a stellar performance on the opening night of the carnival which earned them the 2nd runner's up position.

The sporting events saw our teams giving their best and fighting their way up in the league stages. DI darts team was the winner all the way smashing all other club teams and emerging champions for the second consecutive year.

The swimming team too sprinted and swam their way to the finals. It was a treat to watch the swimmers swim and qualify for the finals of this carnival after a decade.

The Table Tennis team outclassed the other teams to reach the finals and after a closely fought nail biting finals emerged runner's up.

The badminton team too put in their best but lost in the semifinals. The Snooker team, Tennis team and Squash team also played well in keenly contested league stages.

Our team showed amazing sportsmanship and put up a good show throughout the carnival and the icing on the cake was that our club member Mr. Vijay Singh was awarded the Best sportsman in the veteran category from among all the participating clubs. Congratulations to all team members of all the various sports. Each one of them was a WINNER!
