Holi is a festival of colors that creates enthusiasm among people. How could DI step behind? The club organized a Pre Holi Bash to set the mood of their members and their guests.

Pre-Holi Bash on March 4th was a colorful affair for their distinguished members and their lovely guests. While the ladies looked stunning in their traditional attire, the men looked happy and enthralled by the vibrancy of this joyous festival of colors.

Our members were in a Bollywood mood as Kaushik Roy Chowdhury and his band made them groove to his Bollywood Dance Numbers. The evening's theme was, of course, Holi!

Everyone greeted each other with a teeny-tiny dab of Gulaal and some with lipstick. To top it all off, the club had organized special lip-smacking Chaat and Thandai Counters for snacks, as well as the nation's favorite food – Biryani for dinner, by Sanjha Chulha (it's worth noting that the Sanjha Chulha had to reorder extra handi's of Biryani ‘twice’ - towards the end of the night).

Sweta Chirimar, a member of the club said, “At DI, it is always this vibe that we come back for, be it Christmas or Holi.”

Sharing similar views, Kavita, another club member, said, “We participate in all the club celebrations whenever possible. It would have been nice if we could put up a few special stalls of Holi items to raise funds for the weaker sections of our society.”
