The much awaited Christmas bumper Housie had members and guests gather at DI on the afternoon of Saturday, 16 December 2023.

Several tempting hampers and gifts along with the prize money awaited the lucky winners. Six rounds were played and we had several members and guests win. Complementary tea and Christmas cake was the most welcome refreshment as numbers were cut in the race to shout ‘Yes’ first.

The grand bumper house of INR 25,000 was shared by Gary O’Brien and guest Martha. All the winners beamed as they savoured their moments of glory.

A bon-fire had been set up at the DI lawns. Skewers with marshmallows were given out and soon we had children and members roasting their marshmallows and savouring the delicious flavours. All enjoyed this new experience. Gary, the emcee had everyone dancing around the bonfire as Peter sang for the appreciative audience.

A fun ‘ugly sweater’ competition had all children eagerly gather as they vied to win this coveted title.

The warm bonfire along with the splendid performance of Peter kept members on the dance floor outdoors.

Inside in the Bar, Priyanka Roy had the audience tapping to popular Bollywood songs.
