Let’s welcome the Festive Season with some music…

Bidyut Basu Thakur - A very old member at DI, he started playing the harmonica in the 1950’s, when he was in the 7th standard. He hails from a musically inclined family which includes Late smt. Geeta Dutt who was his aunt. Music has been in his genes and he also plays the harmonium and keyboard with elan. As an Electrical Engineer he travelled all over India and the world including USA, UK and Canada and music took a backseat until he retired and rediscovered his long lost companion - the harmonica a few years back.

Inspired by her Dad, Sohini started playing the Harmonica recently and joins her Dad during his performances. She finds time from her busy work schedule and works late nights writing song notations for her new-found love…the mouth organ or harmonica.

The harmonica, also known as a French harp or mouth organ is a free reed wind instrument used worldwide in many musical genres, notably in blues, American folk music, classical music, jazz, country, and rock and roll. It was also popularized by RD Burman in Bollywood movies.

Join the Daddy Daughter Duo as they create a Fun Musical evening with English, Hindi and Bengali numbers...Come, cheer, dance & sing along…

Sign Guests @ Rs. 50.
